Staten Island Tech and CSI - Collaborating for a Stronger Staten Island

On Jan. 29th from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm, President Fritz hosted the administrative leadership and faculty of Staten Island Technical High School (SITHS) alongside our Provost, Deans, and select faculty, for a exclusive visit at CSI as part of the 30,000 Degrees initiative (approx. 115 people in attendance total). The day opened with a presentation from our President - sharing CSI's many accomplishments, rankings, and strategic priorities. The president was followed by Principal Mark Erlenwein of SITHS, on the historical relationship and ties between our institutions, and our Provost and Vice President of Economic Development finished the opening presentations with a warm welcome to our guests and a message reinforcing our excitement and commitment to a long term partnership with the school. Our guests were seated alongside their CSI counterparts by subject area for lunch. The day ended with multiple tours of campuses, showcasing our labs, facilities, and latest additions.
