Northfield Bank Foundation Renews Grant for 30,000 Degrees
The Northfield Bank (NFB) Foundation renewed a major grant in support of 30,000 Degrees: College Readiness for a Stronger Staten Island. This collaboration brings together the borough's three colleges— The College of Staten Island/CUNY, Wagner College, and St. John’s University /Staten Island Campus — to prepare more Staten Islanders to attain a college education. The Northfield Bank Foundation was the initiative's first investor, and has generously awarded 30,000 Degrees with an additional $50,000. This award has been matched over a two year period by the Richmond County Savings Foundation.
